The final teacher workshop for the academic year was conducted on 21 June 2021. The objectives were to 1) demonstrate how to use technology and research to collect objective data for analysis, and 2) use student data to inform and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and learning in PE classrooms.

During the workshop, Professor HA provided an update on the development of Fundamental Movement Skill Rater and its application in school settings. The student data collected by the Rater was shared to strengthen teachers’ application of the system in their classrooms for the assessment and improvement of students’ performance in fundamental movement skills. She then reported the positive results of using the Fitness Dices to promote fun fitness in teachers’ own practices. Two teachers were also invited to share their hands-on experience and suggestions for effective classroom practice. The workshop ended by summarizing the highlights of the Project’s recent successful events and upcoming activities. Over 100 PE teachers participated in this online workshop, and 59 of them submitted responses in the post-event survey. They all found the workshop very fruitful and practical.
