To prepare for the 2021/2022 new school year, we organised an online interschool event titled “2021-2022 School Meeting cum Activity Session” with principals and teaching staff of Project schools on 27 August 2021. The event aimed to express our sincere appreciation for the continuous support from the Project schools, and to share the fruitful outcomes of last school year. We are delighted to have over 200 participants, including school group representatives, principals, PE teachers and teaching staff, joining the Project team to get ready for school. The school meeting hosted by Prof. Ha was to bring updates to schools about the Project progress and positive outlook, as well as to strengthen schools’ readiness to adopt new initiatives in the coming school year.

Subsequently, a relaxing, fun and interactive activity session was led by the Project team. All participants, no matter they exercise regularly or not, were actively engaged in the Project newly designed big board game named “Fun to Move Everywhere”. The board game is designed for all levels which integrates the components of fundamental movement skills and health-related fitness to promote confidence and competence through physical activity. The Project has given a big board game (diameter: 2.5m) to every project school. We hope that the initiative will help make the exercising experience even more inclusive and accessible for all participants.
