In the first part of the workshop, the Project team presented results from preliminary analyses of health-related fitness data collected from the project schools. A demonstration of correct assessment techniques for handgrip and shoulder stretch tests was also provided to attending teachers.

In the second part of the workshop, the Project team presented the modified version of the “Fitness Dice”, a novel tool designed to assist teachers’ physical education instruction. The Project team discussed recommended teaching practices using the tool and provided an interactive trial session led by the project coach. Since its introduction in 2021, the “Fitness Dice” has been widely used by many project schools to promote “Fun Fitness in PE” teaching. The modified version was developed based on the practical teaching experience shared by the participating teachers, for which the functions and applications have been improved, covering the major components of fitness such as cardiorespiratory endurance, muscle strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, agility, coordination, and balance.

A total of 86 teachers from 29 project schools attended the workshop. Attendees were satisfied with the workshop and gave positive feedbacks in the post-event survey.
